First aid demonstration at a staged railway accident at Watergraafsmeer on the occasion of the 3rd International Congress for the Rescue services. - a steam locomotive with a passenger carriage deliberately runs of the railway because of a barricade, 21". - various shots of aid; the victimes are taken off the train and laid in the grass, bandaged, laid on a stretcher and transported to a tent next to the railway, 1'56". - the victims are soldiers, the aid workers are men in plain clothes and nurses in uniform, an audience is observing from a distance.
