A KLM pilot, the captain Anton ("Ton") van Ulsen, has a hobby: playing with model trains. SHOTS: - A Convair arrives at Schiphol Airport; passengers, crew and captain get off the airplane; Van Ulsen leaves Schiphol Airport in a Citroën "Traction Avant"; - Van Ulsen arrives at home, receives a warm welcome from his wife and children and unwraps the present he brought along; in the package is a model locomotive; - father and children run to the attic where a complete model railway is located; Van Ulsen puts the locomotive on the tracks; trains run on model railway tracks; Van Ulsen controls everything from his control panel in the middle of the tracks.
