Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented.
Cooks demonstrate the preparing of mess tins of warm food in the first mobile field kitchen of the Bescherming Bevolking (Protection of the Civilian Population). The kitchen is meant to be able to prepare large amounts of meals in emergency situations. The kitchen machines are fixed on eight large lorries that can be connected. The train is totally self-supporting, there are lorries equiped for permanent accomodation of staff and for the energy supply.
