Short parody of the war, with adult men who play “war games”.
Short parody of the war, with adult men who play “war games”. General Rempipabelsneuseland, at the office of Senkema, sends the war department a telegram asking for reinforcements. Men are then recruited, preferably men who are married and not afraid of their mothers-in-law. A motley army is assembled, and their battle against the equally ridiculous enemy army begins. Parodies of European warlords, from Napoleon to Tsar Peter, are called back by their wives, but are held back by the Show-of-Solidarity union of soldiers. The war is called off on Saturday at noon.
